Council Member
Eng. Shilongo holds a Diploma in Taxation and Management, National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, a B.Tech degree in Power Engineering from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Power (Electrical) Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems. He currently studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement Management and has completed various extensive professional training, including in Corporate Governance. He has over 14 years’ professional experience in both industry and academia, as well as in mentorship programs and various commitments to society. He currently serves on the NUST Council and is a Board Member of the Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN) with an extensive professional network in both the public and private sectors of Namibia.
He currently works as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment of NUST.
He became a member of Council in August 2022 and is a member of the Academic Affairs, Training and Research Committee (AATRC) of Council.
