Council Member
Dr. Petrina Johannes holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA, as well as a professional Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
She currently serves as the Associate Dean for the School of Engineering and the Built Environment at the University of Namibia, as well as Campus Director for the University’s Jose Eduardo dos Santos Engineering Campus. She has over 8 years of experience in academic leadership and Management.
Her leadership roles include current and previous membership of the Boards of Directors at Roads Fund Administration (RFA) and the Roads Contractor Company (RCC), as well as serving on the Review Panel for the Procurement Act (15 of 2015).
She is the Chairperson of the Academic Affairs, Training and Research Committee (AATRC) of ECN.
